XRISM Proposal
Applications for AO1 are now closed. Thank you for many applications!
XRISM proposals can be submitted in the following three agencies:
- from American and Canadian affiliations: NASA/GSFC
- from European affiliations: ESAC
- from Japanese and the other countries' affiliations: JAXA (this site)
JAXA XRISM proposal system consists of ARK (Astrophysical Research Knowledgebase) and RPS (Remote Proposal System).
ARK provides a web interface to
submit and store information in a database. Registration is required to
access the service, which provides user authentication and group-based
authorization. Users have permission to submit and/or modify the ARK
database based on granular group- and user-specific settings.
ARK forms the basis for the RPS.
The combination allows investigators to view and modify their
proposal information after they submit their proposals (prior to the
submission deadline) via RPS and upload any associated files that are needed
to fulfill electronic proposal submission.
